We’ve streamlined the tile ordering process to make it as straightforward as possible. Here’s a quick guide on how to order the perfect amount of tiles for your project:
Step 1: Choose Your Tile
Explore our extensive range of tiles and select the style, size, and finish that best suits your project. Our tiles are sold by the box (or by the slab for our larger formats). Simply enter how many square metres you need and you will be shown how many boxes are required to cover this area. We round this up to the nearest full box. You can also order by the box if you know how many you need.
Step 2: Specify Square Metres (M²) or Quantity (Boxes)
- Square Metres: If you know the area you need to cover, simply specify the number of square metres required. Our system will then calculate the number of boxes needed, rounding up to the nearest whole box.
- Quantity: Alternatively, you can choose to order a specific quantity of boxes directly if you already know how many you need.
- Job lot: If the item is sold as a job lot, this means that this product cannot be split and you will need to buy the entire quantity of boxes or square metres shown. Job lots are significantly discounted but are perfect stock, and not returns or damaged items.
Step 3: Add 10% for Cuts and Wastage
To ensure you have enough tiles to account for cuts and any potential wastage, we recommend adding 10% to your order. This extra allowance guarantees you have ample tiles to complete your project without the need for last-minute adjustments.
Step 4: Add to Bag
Once you have selected the quantity you require for your project, click on the Add to Bag button.
Step 5: Proceed to Checkout
Review your order, confirm the quantity, and proceed to checkout buy clicking on the shopping bag icon in the top right-hand corner of the website. Our checkout will provide a summary of your order and secure payment methods. It will also provide you with your delivery cost based on your location and the items you have in your shopping bag.
If you have any questions or require assistance, our customer support team is here to help.
Please note that our last date for deliveries and collections will be Thursday 19th December 2024. We will resume deliveries on Friday 3rd of January 2025. These dates also apply to the processing of sample requests.
We offer delivery services to a wide range of mainland UK locations. We aim to have all orders delivered within 4-6 working days, from Monday to Friday, excluding weekends (Saturday and Sunday). This means that you can expect your order to arrive as early as the 4th working day or at the latest on the 6th working day. It’s important to note that certain postcodes in Scotland and offshore islands may incur additional charges and may have longer lead times for delivery. To determine the delivery cost, simply enter your postcode during the checkout process. Once we have received your order, a member of our Customer Services Team will contact you to confirm your delivery date. For standard formats we offer free UK delivery where the total order value is greater than £500. Standard delivery costs apply to large format slabs.
We strive to provide a transparent and fair pricing policy, ensuring that you receive your high-quality porcelain surfaces without any hidden costs. Whether you’re located in urban centers or remote areas, our reliable delivery network ensures your order is handled with care and delivered efficiently. Our kerbside delivery service aims to bring your product as close as possible to the nearest available solid delivery point. Certain obstacles such as steps, lifts, uneven or gravel paths/driveways, and grass surfaces might require the delivery to be redirected to the nearest feasible location in proximity to the delivery vehicle. It is important that clients inform us of any road or parking restrictions or any special requirements prior to the delivery date. If there are queries related to supply, damage, shading, or other faults, contact our Customer Service Team at 020 3696 0588 or email enquiry@empriosurfaces.com.

Emporio Surfaces are the only online retailer offering large format porcelain slabs for immediate order and delivery. Typical tile stores will offer you a maximum of 100 x 100 cm tiles when they refer to large formats. Our large format slabs start at 150 x 150 cm and go all the way up to 150 x 300 cm. This is over four times larger than typical large formats. At over three metres tall these slabs are extremely heavy (up to 65 kg per slab) and require careful handling and specialist transport services. Large format slabs will not fit on standard pallet delivery vehicles, requiring a Hiab with crane or specialist vehicle with a slab storage facility. This inevitably means that delivery costs for slabs are significantly higher than for standard pallet delivery. Slab delivery is split in to 4 zones, based on your postcode.

In your quest for an exceptionally resilient, practical, and aesthetically versatile material for your walls and floors, porcelain tiles emerge as the ultimate choice. Our meticulously selected porcelain collection is a testament to its boundless versatility and enduring appeal, and presents a diverse spectrum of options catering to both indoor and outdoor settings across various design aesthetics and time periods. Each of our porcelain tiles, renowned for their durability, lends itself seamlessly to high-traffic areas, while select options suit both wall and floor installations.
Unlike many natural materials including wood, stone and marble, porcelain is entirely non-porous. This provides an extremely hygienic, anti-bacterial surface that is ideal for food preparation. It has a durable, non-scratch finish that is heat and blade resistant, and does not require sealing like granite or marble. The surface offers protection against mould and mildew that cause odours, while coffee, red wine or tomato based sauces will not stain and cleaning products are safe to use. A comprehensive cleaning routine will help to keep your surfaces in tip-top condition and ensure their continued beauty for years to come. See here for more information regarding the cleaning and maintenance of your porcelain tiles.
Within our extensive porcelain range, you’ll uncover a captivating array of choices, ranging from sleek, minimalist designs to vivid colour palettes and intricate patterns. If you are looking for tiles to breathe life into your bathrooms, kitchens, hallways, or even outdoor spaces, look no further. Discover cost-effective porcelain alternatives to terrazzo tiles, as well as designs featuring bold, large-scale colour fragments, offering a modern twist on a timeless trend.
For an impressively realistic emulation of natural stone, our stone-effect ranges meticulously replicate surface textures, tonal variations, providing convincing alternatives to limestone, sandstone, travertine, and more. If you’re drawn to the opulence of marble, our marble-effect tiles present a superb substitute. Alongside timeless classics, you’ll find mesmerising swirling patterns reminiscent of lustrous onyx tiles.
For those with an affinity for vibrant colours, our porcelain collection boasts a rich spectrum of choices, encompassing an array of finishes, shades, and colours. If you’re in search of porcelain tiles that won’t overwhelm your space, our grey and cream designs provide a reliable solution to artfully balance the use of striking hues.
Many of our porcelain tiles are thoughtfully designed for both indoor and outdoor use, featuring varying thicknesses that seamlessly bridge the gap between your interior and exterior spaces, creating a harmonious and inviting environment.

While viewing our collection, you might want to request colour swatch samples of the products you like. You’ll find “Order Free Sample” buttons or an icon like this on each product. Up to 5 samples can be posted out free of charge to a UK destination. If you require larger volumes of samples, please contact us. Tile samples are provided in 8 x 13 cm format and please note due to natural colour variations, differences in shade can occur. Please note that some products may not offer samples, this is because the item is offered as a job lot and we cannot open the box to cut a sample.

All our products offer the option to order samples online, though certain exclusions may apply. Tiles can vary in shade and size from batch to batch and so a sample may not be 100% indicative of the final product. Please ensure you are entirely happy with the products as any claims once they have been fixed will not be considered.
